The Audacity of Hope

Both my husband and I have very demanding jobs and have to work late. We have installed a good home security system. We have also prominently displayed the type of the alarm system in front of our house to deter any potential thief. But still we do not feel fully protected. Although these security systems are thoroughly efficient we felt we too must take some extra precautions to ensure that no smart thief tries to break in spite of the alarm system. One of the first things we did was get two set of keys for our house. Earlier we used to keep the key beneath the door mat but two keys seemed a better option. We also made sure that we keep our curtains always closed whenever we are not at home and also after dark when the lights are on. A few safety tips that are diligently followed go a long way in ensuring a safe home.
